Perform all machine, bench and assembly operations to construct, modify, maintain, and repair tools, blanking and forming dies, jigs, fixtures, etc.2. Layout, select proper equipment and materials, determine machining variables and ultimately machine high quality tools, jigs and fixtures to critical tolerances.3. Plan, layout and perform all operations to fabricate and construct a diversified line of sheet metal products to customer's specifications or perform development work on new products.4. Construct, alter and repair pre-production models of complicated and intricate design and construction.5. Perform all jig bore machining on a wide variety of work where considerable skill is required to maintain a high degree of accuracy on sizes and related dimensions.6. Check own work and work of others to insure tolerances per specifications.May troubleshoot installed tools, fixtures, jigs and dies at the operator's workplace to determine source of problem and make corrections.7. Use a wide variety of precision measuring devices such as indicators, micrometers, scales, etc.8. Provide technical direction and layout work for personnel as assigned.9. Have completed State of Wisconsin Indentured apprentice program in Tool & Die.2. Able to discriminate visually to perform various checks*3. Able to discriminate auditorily to perform noise checks*4. Bending motions from waist required*5. Able to handle/lift/push/pull various assemblies*6. Repetitive hand and wrist motion required*7. Extended period of standing/sitting*
