
Financial Analyst

- Performs basic-to-complex financial analyses, reporting and manipulation of data, identifying and communicating trends, risks, and opportunities, and outlying variances.
- Responsible for writing queries using SQL, Cognos, Crystal, or equivalent tools to fulfill complex ad hoc requests and provide financial interpretation, analysis, and market-based information to multiple stakeholders.
- Assist in analyzing various aspects of the clinical practice, including benchmarking key indicators, billing and collection analysis, denials analytics, and revenue optimization
- Prepares timely and accurate reporting in support of practice and clinical department leadership.
- Assists management with analysis and implementation of financial/business process improvements related to clinical revenue cycle.
- Supports the development and review of practice and department clinical revenue initiatives.
- Prepare ad hoc requests as assigned.
- Clear and concise written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with presenting analyses/findings to large groups and executive leadership
- Experience working with various stakeholders and various levels of management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage large quantities of disparate information
- Intermediate-to-Advanced Microsoft Office Skills including Excel and PowerPoint and SQL, Cognos, Crystal and/or equivalent tools.
- Experience in a nimble, complex financial environment
- Experience in financial/business process improvement preferred but not required

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Required Experience: 5 years in a Healthcare Finance or Financial EnvironmentPreferred Qualifications:
Preferred Education: Master’s in Business Administration
Preferred Experience: Previous Experience in the Healthcare Industry, Clinical Revenue Cycle Operations and/or Analytics, Epic reporting
Preferred Certification/Licensure(s): Epic reporting certification preferredTarget salary range for this position is between $69,400.00 and $87,800.00 annually.
