The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Strategy and Development (CS&D) will play an integral role in North America’s Finance organization and be given the opportunity to gain broad experience across a wide variety of financial systems, processes, and analyses. This individual will be charged with providing several key deliverables:
- Portfolio optimization workstreams: Management of KHC SKU Rationalization project to improve portfolio profitability / address low margin SKUs
- M&A / deal diligence support: Driving forward diligence workstreams in collaboration with M&A team on an as needed basis
- Financial reporting enhancement and transformation: Supporting business leaders in improving reporting visibility and quality where needed; examples may include initiatives related to KHC financial reporting systems, portfolio management, market strategy alignment, and / or analytics tools
- Industry and competitive intelligence reporting: Providing ongoing competitor intelligence, evaluations of KHC brands / market positioning, and M&A support
- [SKU Rat] Assist with the annual Kraft Heinz SKU Rationalization project to remove low margin SKUs driving down cost mix and increasing complexity
- [Diligence] Support M&A projects / initiatives through data recon, P&L modeling, and building variance drivers
- [Systems Project Management] Aid the business in reconciliation / testing of Kraft Heinz financial reporting systems to ensure processes are run properly (margin analysis, VIC/VLC per Lb., volume assumptions, etc.)
- [KHC Competitive Intelligence Reporting] Provide regular market segmentation analysis to evaluate positioning of KHC brands within larger industry
- [KHC Industry Reporting] Investigate / understand larger industry trends by KHC category to evaluate the next best steps for brand planning
- Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field (i.e., Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, etc.) is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and / or Consulting preferred
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint, while also demonstrating strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Strong project management / process improvement skills
- Business & operating system project management experience, including SAP, Snowflake, Oracle PBCS financial systems
- Proven / excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hardworking and capable of coping with pressure and deadlines
- Experience with financial modeling (P&L), combining different business units, and reconciliations of drivers
- Demonstrated ability to work in large, cross-functional teams and proven track-record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
