This site serves its customers by supplying electrical insulation components for the design of reliable electric motors, traction drive systems, coils, generators, transformers and several ballistic applications.Here, we go with the future, and we improve constantly – especially with experts like you!IHRE VERANTWORTUNG UND AUFGABENThe Logistics Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse management, site logistics, shipping and receiving under the direction of the warehouse manager.Primary Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate all domestic and foreign outbound shipments. Schedule inbound shipments as needed.
- Manage and perform cycle counts. Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory.
- Administer and oversee time clock, payroll information and PTO.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies with orders, bills of lading, invoices, and other warehouse documentation.
- Prepare and execute shipping, receiving, warehousing and material movement schedules.
- Enter data and records into various databases, including but not limited to computerized spreadsheets, ERP software, cloud-based software, paper logbooks, etc.…
- Ensure accuracy of warehouse and shipping data and records.
- Serve as liaison between warehousing and other internal departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years of experience in scheduling, order processing, warehousing, and/or transportation.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and training in hazardous materials transportation, handling, and storage.
- Familiarity and/or certifications with DOT, IATA and IMDG .
- SAP ERP experience.
- ASCM Certifications.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels and teams within the company.
- Ability to lead special projects as assigned.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Skype for Business, Zoom etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk; reach, lift, push, pull and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Other abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
- This position will operate in chemical manufacturing environment, however primarily in an office setting.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
