You'll lead sourcing, engagement, and relationship-building efforts to develop a steady pipeline of high-performing, mission-aligned talent. In this dual-hat position, you will both manage and execute, acting as a player-coach who builds scalable systems while actively engaging with candidates. You will be responsible for driving high-impact recruiting campaigns that reduce time-to-fill, elevate candidate quality, and increase passive talent conversion. This is a strategic and hands-on role that directly supports VIATechnik's expansion into new markets and services.Employee Value Proposition
  • Purpose: This is a unique opportunity to be the engine of growth behind a digital-first AEC company that's transforming how the built world operates. You'll work alongside business, technology, and delivery leaders to shape how VIATechnik scales its most important asset, our people.
  • Growth: You'll have the autonomy to design sourcing strategies, implement cutting-edge tools, and architect processes that scale as we grow. With strong executive support and a culture of innovation, you'll gain exposure across all business units and have the opportunity to build and lead a team over time.

You'll work in an agile, remote-first environment that encourages experimentation, initiative, and personal ownership, backed by a team that values recruiting as a strategic advantage.
Major Performance ObjectivesBuild a predictable talent pipeline - Within the first 120 days, build and activate a sourcing system that increases the volume of qualified, high-quality candidates interested in joining VIATechnik. This includes leveraging AI-powered sourcing platforms like HireEZ, LinkedIn, and existing employee networks to engage semi-finalist-level talent before roles are open. The goal is to generate a consistent stream of warm talent that aligns with forecasted hiring needs.Shift candidate mix to favor passive talent - By the end of the second quarter, increase the proportion of hires sourced from passive and exploratory talent pools (those not actively applying) to represent at least 60% of total hires. This will require developing compelling "pull" campaigns, building referral ecosystems, and conducting proactive outreach campaigns rooted in Win-Win Hiring conversations. AI Insight: Use AI to detect readiness signals (e.g., recency markers, promotion gaps) and personalize outreach accordingly.Reduce Time-to-Hire for Critical Roles - Within the first 6–9 months, reduce the average time it takes to move a qualified candidate from first contact to signed offer by 30%. This includes designing and owning a faster, candidate-first workflow that leverages structured intake, scorecards, and real-time debriefing processes. AI Insight: Identify workflow delays using CRM analytics and optimize top-of-funnel filters using predictive AI tools to triage high-fit applicants.Critical Subtasks
