This position plays a critical role in launching new products and implementing engineering changes with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. As a key member of our organization, you'll collaborate across departments-including engineering, production, and customer support-to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations from concept through production.Key Responsibilities:Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for new product and engineering change launches.Prepare and submit PPAP documentation, including Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, and IMDS submissions.Develop and maintain quality documentation such as gage instructions, inspection check sheets, and quality guides.Manage Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and gage/test-fixture development.Conduct feasibility reviews of customer specifications, GD&T, and testing requirements.Support safe launch processes, analyze inspection data, and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Perform internal audits and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements (e.g., Stellantis control plan audits).Act as a key liaison for customer concerns, warranty tracking, and quality-related communication via customer portals.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering, Packaging, or related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, preferably in the North American automotive industry.Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plan development.Proficiency in GD&T, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and structured problem-solving techniques.Experience with MSA (Gage R&R), process capability studies, and gage/test-fixture development.Familiarity with customer portals (e.g., Stellantis) for 8D submissions and scorecard retrieval.IMDS submission experience is a plus.Work Environment & Expectations:
Office and Manufacturing floor environment
Occasional travel to customer and supplier sites
Exercise authority to stop the manufacturing or shipping process in the event of non-conforming product or safety concerns
Work under minimal supervision while delivering results on time
