The work we do here matters.Department Overview The Global Procurement Organization provides the resources, processes, governance, systems and controls for acquiring goods and services efficiently, effectively and ethically from a diverse supply base that provides Motorola Solutions a competitive advantage on cost, quality, technology, service and delivery.The Global Product Procurement Organization is responsible for the acquisition of all Hardware, Software and Supply Chain Services required for Motorola to design, build and distribute Video, Radio and Accessory products. The Global Procurement team is evolving from more traditional sourcing and procurement goals by looking beyond simple cost savings and creating value for the corporation by improving product profitability, increasing supplier collaboration and leveraging supplier roadmaps to bring new solutions to our business partners. We are a client focused team designed to bring value and help lead innovations, revenue and savings within the business.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Demonstrated Professional experience in leading a global Procurement team responsible for Supply Chain Services: Manufacturing, Repair, Distribution & LogisticsDemonstrated results of annual net cost reduction, working capital management.Perform market research and analysis to determine availability of outsourced solutions, analyze market trends, competitive benchmarking, commercial best-practices, and technological advances in manufacturing, repair and operations (MRO). * Develop and Execute cohesive strategies for current and future needs, resiliency, market trends, government regulations, and business environments.Demonstrated results on Forecasting, sourcing, compliance, quality, negotiations, and contracting.Be responsible for inventing and implementing process improvements, automation, and best practices to support growth and scale with Global reach.Demonstrate cross-functional team leadership, working closely with Product Management, Product Design, Technical and Business Development to achieve results.Lead a global team of individuals and managersPreferred Skills:Excellent communication skills verbal and written.5 plus years of Executive leadership experience.Examples of working with complex organizations, including integration of mergers and acquisitionsDepartment managing including recruiting, hiring, and performance management.Global responsibility and vision for Supply Chain and Procurement.Strong managerial and negotiation skills.Industry network and experience in Electronics Manufacturing.Leading complex end-to-end RF(x) process and contracts.Thriving in a high-energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.Candidates must have professional experience in Manufacturing, General Procurement or Sourcing at the Directors level or higher to be considered for this role.Basic RequirementsRequired Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain, or Technology5 years of experience in Procurement strategy or Contract management.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
