Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.We are currently looking for Care Professionals.
Starting Pay Rate: $16.50 - $18.00 per hourDuties include, but are not limited to:

Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Running errands
Assistance with grooming and bathing/shower
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Alzheimer’s or Dementia Care

**Home Instead is licensed by the state of Illinois, which requires ALL Employees to be fingerprinted through the Illinois State Police and attend mandatory (paid) annual training to active working Care Professionals. All training provided by Home Instead.**Requirements to be a Care Professional:

At least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
At least 6 months experience working in a Nursing Home or Healthcare Agency environment for adults
Ability to speak and hear English clearly in person and on the telephone
Ability to read and write English
Ability to lift 25 lbs: bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and carrying
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Complete a criminal background check and drug screen
DMV check
