- Manage and oversee daily operations of the production facility.
- Ensure all production processes meet quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet business goals.

- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.

- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the production facility, including equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and compliant with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage relationships with external service providers for maintenance, repairs, and other facility-related services.
- Develop and implement facility policies and procedures.
- Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop production schedules and monitor workflow to meet production targets.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Implement and monitor production KPIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Address employee concerns and provide support to ensure high levels of morale and job satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage innovative ideas from team members.
- Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Identify and resolve any production or quality issues promptly.
- Develop and manage the production and facility maintenance budget.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure that production activities stay within budgetary constraints.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries.
- Facilitate safety training sessions and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field or 5 years of facility/production supervision experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in production planning.
- Strong communication skills, basic office software, and interpersonal skills.
- This role requires working in a production facility, which may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
- The Facility and Production Manager may need to work extended hours or weekends to meet production deadlines.
