
ServiceNow Developer

- Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
- Perform unit, system, and integration testing.
- Debug and fix technical problems.
- Support the development of detailed technical documentation.
- Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
- Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
- A minimum of three (3) years of ServiceNow experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD).
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Experience in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
- Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
- Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
- Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
- Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST preferred.
- Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
- General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.
