Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20 - $22 per hourMUST BE CERTIFIED THROUGH AN ACCREDITED PROGRAMAbout the Role:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing practice. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to support providers and ensure excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, professional, and comfortable assisting patients with sensitive health concerns in a respectful and efficient manner.What You'll Do:Prepare patients for examinations and proceduresTake vital signs, medical histories, and review medicationsAssist providers during in-office procedures and treatmentsCollect, label, and process lab specimens (including urine and blood)Perform basic lab tests and phlebotomyProvide wound care and change dressings as directedAdminister medications and injections under provider supervisionEducate patients about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up careMaintain exam rooms, equipment, and supply levelsAdministrative SupportGreet and check in patients with professionalism and discretionUpdate and maintain accurate records in the EMRSchedule appointments, manage referrals, and coordinate outside servicesHandle phone calls, prescription refills, and patient inquiriesAssist with insurance forms, billing, and general office tasksWhat We're Looking For:Current CMA or CCMA certification from an accredited program (required)High school diploma or equivalent (required)Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy, injections, and specimen handlingProficiency in EMR systems and general computer useExcellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsCompassionate and professional demeanor with commitment to patient confidentialityPhysical Requirements:Ability to bend, stoop, and assist patients as neededComfortable standing/walking for extended periods and using computers for documentationAbility to lift up to 25-50 lbsWhy Join Us:
