Title: Installation & Construction Site SupervisorShift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. This role requires approximately 20%-30% travel.Salary: Annual earnings for this position are $85k+.Installation & Construction Site Supervisor Role:This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of site installation, primarily for induction equipment. The supervisor will manage the processes for rigging, setting, wiring, plumbing, and other related activities as outlined in the project's scope of work. The core purpose of this position is to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the customer's satisfaction.Installation & Construction Site Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project
  • Define project purpose and scope
  • Manage employees and subcontractors
  • Conduct "Open Box Inspections" upon project commencement to ensure materials and Bill of Materials match supplied drawings
  • Assess and manage safety hazards and site security
  • Devise and implement completion strategies, schedules, action lists, and plans
  • Prepare and file daily reports
  • Ensure compliance with company or government regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of contractor/employee attendance and timesheets
  • Communicate with the Installation & Construction Project Manager daily
  • Complete daily Job Site Assessments (JSA)
  • Set project goals and oversee projects to completion
Installation & Construction Site Supervisor Reporting Relationships:This position reports directly to the Installation & Construction Project Manager. The supervisor will have reports, including subordinate managers, employees, and subcontractors. This position also interfaces with personnel from all departments, customers, vendors, and suppliers.About You:
  • A college degree in engineering or a scientific field is required
  • Familiarity with the client's products and 5 years of experience in Construction Management is preferred
  • You possess above-average mathematical and reasoning abilities
  • You are a high-level decision-maker who can analyze facts and determine action within corporate and installation practices
  • You have proven leadership skills with a large and diverse workforce
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD
  • You are able to read and understand technical electrical and mechanical documents
  • You have excellent written, communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • You are a professional with a positive demeanor and attitude
  • You have strong project management abilities
