Spurwink's ShifaME program seeks a highly collaborative, creative, and flexible clinician to join our ShifaME program in this school-based position. This is a program that serves immigrants, refugees and forcibly displaced children and families impacted by traumatic stress. This is a team-based model in which clinicians and cultural brokers work together to provide individual and family therapy as well as facilitate a skill based school group. We are seeking a clinician who will provide services to a diverse caseload and enjoys a combination of school-based work with some home-based family work. Clinicians receive individual and group supervision as well as training and consultation in Trauma Systems Therapy adapted for refugees (TST-r). This position is a full-time position at Saccarappa Elementary and pays $52,000 to $64,500 a year based on licensure and years of experience.Robust Benefits Package:

Salaried positions have a billable weekly expectation of 18 hours per week.DUTIES:
  • The clinician partners with ShifaMe Cultural Brokers/Care Coordinators to deliver mental health services utilizing the evidence-based model Trauma Systems Therapy adapted for refugees (TST-r).
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy.
  • Further responsibilities include providing updates on treatment progress for managed care entries, clinical documentation, and electronic record keeping.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:Clinicians must be licensed in the state of Maine or eligible for licensure as an LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC.Spurwink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
