Accounting Manager

• Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as P&L, AP, and AR
• Prepare tax forms to CPA
• Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization
• Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
• Maintain the general ledger
• Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books
• Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquires from banks
• Reconcile cash disbursements accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts
• Prepare and process payroll bi-weekly, manage all HR duties, including Texas Worker's Comps quarterly reports
• Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to appropriate accounts
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
• File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies
• Manages the purchasing and invoicing system
• Streamline and optimize Accounting and HR processes

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field (required)
• Must demonstrate proficiency in NetSuite (custom reports, saved searches, fixed assets, inventory management)
• At least 3 years of related experience (required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizationsal skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
• Experience preparing tax reports (sales tax, 1099, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
