- Participates as a team member and in the application services delivery group.
- Possesses sufficient knowledge of business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design construction and implementation.
- Participates in creating solutions to problems using a structured approach keeping in mind long term maintainability and quick accessibility.
- Tests solutions properly against customer acceptance criteria to ensure a quality application.
- Documents consistently and accurately on all projects.
- Communicates and maintains a productive working relationship with user base of product/service line as well as all appropriate parties to an assignment, both internal and external to IT.
- Configures and supports LMS (Canvas)
- Configures Canvas LTIs and has a good understanding of using Canvas APIs for troubleshooting
- Creates/modifies CSS and JS files that support Canvas themes
- Creates/troubleshoots Linux scripts that support critical LMS processes
- Troubleshoots integration flows between different systems and documents the data flow
- Understands high priority and high visibility issues and takes ownership in troubleshooting
- Creates/troubleshoots Linux scripts that support critical LMS processes
- Reports appropriate and correct status to project leadership, manager and Director.
- Improves knowledge in new technologies in order to use them in approved projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology or Comparable Technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology working with cloud applications.
- 5+ years with Learning Management System (LMS) preferably Canvas.
- 3+ years with Linux Scripting
- 3+ years with CSS and JavaScript
- Experience of performing LMS integration configurations and validations.
- Experience with integrations and troubleshooting defects.
- Proven track record in managing and tuning large volume applications.
- Excellent oral/written communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple organizations.
- Knowledge in Microsoft windows and Office products.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of web base technologies Desired.
