- Partner with Procurement and business unit managers to achieve targeted outcomes associated with business efficiencies, cost reduction/revenue improvement, and product/service provider optimization through opportunity identification, successful negotiations, and advantageous contracting, while complying with the highest ethical standards and preventing conflicts of interest and improper vendor/supplier relationships.
- Support all pre-sourcing fulfillment (IT evaluations, product development, funding review/approval, etc.), as well as full strategic sourcing process through contracting for any assigned initiatives and all vendor/supplier agreements.
- Support simple to moderate financial and other empirical analysis associated with sourcing and contracting events, and partner with a Financial Analyst for those comparisons of greater complexity.
- Support negotiations and enforcement of new agreements and modifications to existing contracts (MSA’s, NDA’s, SOW’s, etc.) including terms and conditions, performance obligations, regulatory compliance, etc., with vendors.
- Support Contract and Sourcing Strategists by drafting vendor communications, coordinating meetings/presentations for internal and external participants, preparing contract documentation, invoice research, reporting, etc.
- Collaborate with and consult the relevant stakeholders including, lines of business, Finance, Risk, Legal, etc. to achieve positive results, while complying with company policies, standards, and applicable laws.
- Manage efforts in accordance with the Procurement Policy and ensure compliance with associated purchasing and funding approval processes, and expense management practices and controls.
- Work with internal business owners and stakeholders to incorporate Supplier Diversity into sourcing and contracting activities.
- Minimum of Associate’s degree with BA/BS preferred in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field and 1-2 years of relevant experience (Procurement, Contract Management, Sourcing, Third Party Risk Management, Paralegal, etc.)
- Strong communication, consultative, and interpersonal skills. Must function as a trusted advisor to business unit managers (internal clients) within the organization.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to successfully influence key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strong problem-solving/solution architect and critical thinking skills, and good business acumen fostering sound process, and strategy decisions.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and activities effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Video Conferencing (Teams, WebEx, etc.)
