- Creative Leadership: Serve as the brand-side owner of creative direction, guiding the visual and verbal identity of the brand across all platforms.
- Creative Development: Create and/or leverage agency templates to develop digital assets, emails, and other breakthrough creative elements.
- Brand Stewardship: Own the development, maintenance, and evolution of brand guidelines, toolkits, and templates, ensuring consistency and integrity in all creative executions.
- Implementation Oversight: Partner with creative agency, oversee and approve the execution of all creative work--including campaigns, digital assets, retail merchandising, social, and internal communications--to ensure it aligns with brand standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with HR, operations teams and other internal and external teams to ensure brand consistency and creative excellence.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor in-house designers and creatives fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and inspired team culture.
- Innovation: Stay on top of design trends, cultural moments, and audience behaviors to evolve the brand's creative expression in fresh, relevant ways.
- 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, in-house or agency supporting a consumer-facing brand
- Proven expertise in brand design, creative strategy, and visual storytelling
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of creative executions and brand systems work
- Deep understanding of creative production processes across channels (print, digital, video, social, environmental)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under tight timelines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools; familiarity with Figma or similar platforms is a plus
- Experience leading brand refreshes or rebranding initiatives
- Strong understanding of brand architecture and messaging frameworks
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure within a growing or evolving organization
