Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Manager of Transmission & Distribution Project Management with a passion for driving results to join our high-performing energy practice team. This role will lead and manager for project managers responsible for execution of moderate to large sized projects to support electric utilities.This position can be based out of any AECOM office located in Dallas, TX; Arlington, VA; Austin, TX; Baltimore, MD; Bloomfield, NJ; Burlington, NJ; Charlotte, NC; Charleston, SC; Chicago, IL.This position is hybrid.Our Project Managers are AECOM's leaders readily managing, leading project teams, and delivering technical excellence, to provide client satisfaction through the use of structured processes and tools.Candidate responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Manage the full life cycle of substation or transmission projects.
  • Management of a project management team and perform project management for key projects + clients.
  • Client development, including capture lead/proposal preparation.
  • Collaboration with other technical teams within AECOM.
Successful candidates will:
  • Enjoy building teams, capturing new work, and growing Client relationships.
  • Take ownership of internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, and risk management.
  • Be results-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Enjoy managing projects that vary in size and complexity in multiple locations.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:BA BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years' experience specific to transmission and distribution.5+ years in leadership role managing technical teams.Valid P.E. License within the United StatesExperience with and knowledgeable of building and safety codes specifically NESC.Preferred Requirements:12+ years of experience in Transmission and DistributionAdditional Information
