Join a dedicated, tight-knit team that creates an immediate and meaningful impact every day.Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking an A/R Billing Analyst to drive efficient revenue and accounts receivable cycle functions, research and evaluate healthcare information from different sources and identify trends and business insights. Analyze operational and financial data to drive business performance. This individual will have familiarity with data management systems and analysis tools. This role is looked upon as a highly analytical resource to interdepartmental stakeholders.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Interpret daily audit results and process billing adjustments through automation BOT
  • Create and implement reports and analysis that help maximize the effectiveness of billing operation initiatives and strategies
  • Manage process improvement projects and act as a liaison between billing and internal stakeholders in an effort to meet related expectations and requirements
  • Effectively communicate activity and project status to leadership
  • Create and maintain clear and concise documentation and process workflow
  • Recommend ways to improve process, quality and minimize costs
  • Prepare and organize departmental policy and procedures guidelines
  • Manage the implementation of annual NCCI, CMS, and AMA edits, rate and coding updates/changes
  • Research and analyze medical costs and billing rates such as Federal/State Medicare and OWCP rates
  • Participate in the preparation for internal controls review/audits
  • Coordinate contract compliance review and analysis
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business or Accounting, or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the medical/healthcare industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite with expert/advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sharp analytical and mathematical skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and successfully execute with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Awesome customer service is key
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, or VBA coding are a plus
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects
