
CNC Machinist - NIGHT SHIFT

- Decision making abilities in situations where problems are complex
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5-2009
- Set up machinery without assistance including but not limited to,
- Planning setup
- Acquiring all tooling & gages needed before starting set up
- Selection of correct tooling needed for job
- Building of fixtures if needed
- Clamping and positioning of fixtures correctly
- Setting tooling offsets
- Proofreading programs
- Correctly completing 1st part
- Deburring and inspecting 1st part
- Submitting 1st part for First Article Inspection (FIA)
- Making precise and accurate parts in single & production runs
- Keeps a clean, organized and safe work area
- Maintains company equipment
- Makes sure all programs, tooling and fixtures are properly saved when job is complete
- Participates and initiates continuous improvement of processes
- Abides by all company and safety regulations
- Must run multiple machines when required
- Make use of idle time in a productive manner
- 5 years’ experience in CNC Lathe Operations with Fanuc controls
- 3 years’ minimum experience in job shop environment
