IntroductionIn this contingent resource assignment, you may participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Technology Operations. You'll review and analyze basic or tactical Technology Operations assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide information to client personnel in Technology Operations.Required Skills & Qualifications
2 years of Technology Operations experience
Proficiency in Linux, Oracle, SQL, and troubleshooting
Applicants must be able to work directly on a W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with global enterprise predictable incident management, production support, and application monitoring using various tools such as Linux/Unix, DML for Oracle/SQL/Mongo, batch job schedulers (Autosys, Quartz, Windows Scheduler, etc.), Observability tools (BigPanda, Splunk, AppDynamics, etc.), and data tools (Excel, PowerBI, ServiceNow)
Strong troubleshooting skills and a mindset for process and workflow improvement
Ability to multitask and handle high variability in daily workflows while accurately documenting actions performed
Strong in-person, over-the-phone, and written communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Responsible for resolving and/or escalating technical issues quickly within defined SLAs using predefined steps outlined in runbooks
Meet SLAs, personal workload management, continuous process improvement, and metrics reporting requirements
