The TeamWe build and own the delivery of AssureID Sentinel and AcuFill desktop applications, which are part of GBG’s Documents and Biometrics product portfolio. Our daily work follows Agile methodology, placing a strong emphasis on automation.The RoleYour role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our identity proofing applications which run on desktop devices and integrate seamlessly with third-party identity document scanner hardware. Leading by example, you set the tone for quality and reliability within the team, emphasizing the importance of a QA mindset across the development process.By advocating for rigorous testing practices, providing valuable insights from test results, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers, you will help steer the team towards successful product launches and sustained quality. Your contributions will be pivotal in evolving our working practices, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous learning.What you will do
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our application components.
  • Execute test cases manually and utilizing automated testing tools to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies in software products.
  • Act as a point of escalation for resolving complex technical issues and system failures, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements within the QA workflow to elevate overall effectiveness and productivity
  • Utilize your technical expertise to contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery, overcoming challenges and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Lead efforts to maintain and elevate quality, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
  • Develop a deep understanding of current solution implementations to make informed decisions and contribute effectively to ongoing initiatives.
  • Explore emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to cross team members, breaking down silos and nurturing their skills within the QA domain.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For
  • Proven track record in senior QA roles, showcasing leadership in driving QA initiatives, mentoring team members, and shaping quality assurance practices.
  • Strong expertise in software testing methodologies, test planning, and test case design, with hands-on experience using TestRail for test management, as well as proficiency in tools like Swagger and Graphene for API testing.
  • Exceptional ability to tackle complex technical challenges and debug intricate issues, leveraging a keen eye for detail and a systematic problem-solving approach to ensure robust software quality.
  • Extensive familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, demonstrating a proactive approach to adapting QA practices within Agile frameworks and collaborating seamlessly within Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying technical concepts clearly and succinctly to team members, stakeholders, and senior management, fostering open communication channels and facilitating effective collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience working in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments, including proficiency with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps CI/CD, with a focus on optimizing and automating software delivery pipelines.
  • ·Genuine enthusiasm for mentorship and team development, demonstrated through a track record of guiding and empowering team members to grow their skills and capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and resolving intricate technical issues, employing a logical and analytical approach to problem-solving to ensure timely and effective resolution and minimize impact on project timelines.
