Expedite production; investigate delays and initiate corrective actions to assure economical production through efficient procedures.- Collaborate with and assist respective department managers to determine special customer instructions and adaptations as it relates to the production machining operations.- Provide process status and technical information on an as needed basis for the Production V.P. or other respective department Supervisor. Coordinate programs as they relate to manufacturing methods cost reductions.- Supervise the checking large and expensive parts and/or smaller precision components having exacting specifications involving complicated and improvised machine set ups and difficult operations.- Participate in and coordinate job training, work simplifications, cost reductions, communications, etc.- Review job profit and update quotes on parts as required. Including continual review of outside vendors as to their quality and price.Qualifications- High School education supplemented by formal or on the job training.- Minimum five years background in the manufacturing sector.- Requires considerable experience and background in manufacturing principles around which the parts are produced.- Knowledge and technical background to assume the responsibility of supervision.Please send your resume to .
