Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?
  • Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
  • If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

CNC Lathe Machinist Details:
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $20.00 to $25.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes and milling machines.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling as needed to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections.
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting finished parts to meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
CNC Lathe Machinist Qualifications:
  • 4plus years of CNC machining experience (lathe and milling).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and G-code is a plus.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
