- Learn and Complete month-end balancing of the in-house insurance company financials.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics for both personnel and workloads. Analyze and summarize data for management use.
- Review audit reports for the agency and claims department and follow up and correct items as needed.
- Assist in preparation of financial presentations and reports for internal key stakeholders
- Collaborate with auditors during the financial audit process and provide necessary documentation.
- Files correspondence and legal documents in office filing system.
- Ensures proper indexing and filing of original legal documents.
- Conduct audits of policies issued by the agency.
- Product Safety Committee assistant - responsible for agenda, note taking and minutes. Research topics; organize large amounts of data and follow up during the month for action items.
- Second year student with an intent to secure a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Legal or related field.
- Computer skills with knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal, analytical, and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers
