We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies, defect identification, and process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing
Conduct manual testing across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems
Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks
Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues

Process and Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test data, and defect reports
Participate in requirements review sessions to ensure testability and quality standards
Develop and implement quality assurance processes and best practices
Monitor and report on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers throughout the software development lifecycle
Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Provide clear and timely communication on testing status, risks, and quality concerns

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies
Proven track record of testing web applications, mobile apps, or software systems

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in test automation tools
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript
Knowledge of testing frameworks
Familiarity with API testing tools
Understanding of SQL and database testing concepts
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of bug tracking tools

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
