This position requires regularly lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); and working in confined spaces and/or at heights above four feet. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, and combative/violent people.
ShiftMonday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional weekends/holidays
Job SummaryTherapeutic Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to perform occupational therapy evaluations and render occupational therapy treatments following a physician's order. Will treat patients with a variety of diagnoses. Will perform appropriate documentation in the medical record. This position will provide direct patient care and will assist the Supervisor and Senior Leaders in program development while adhering to the policies and procedures of the University of Kentucky HealthCare Enterprise and in accordance with state and federal regulations.There may be multiple postings open for this department/title, please apply for any and all positions for which you feel qualified. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $69,097.60/year. All pay rates will be based on candidate's experience.
