- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that automate network operations, including device configuration, network provisioning, capacity management and operational autonomy.
- Collaborate closely with both the Network Design, Deployment and Operational teams to understand requirements, design integrations, and implement scalable, reliable solutions.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment and operations, ensuring high-quality standards and agility.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across distributed systems, improving system performance and reliability.
- Engage in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of our development processes.
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a background in developing large-scale distributed services or applications.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python (preferred), GO, Java, or C++, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with Data center design, networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and experience with network programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical challenges and solutions.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud computing and networking technologies, particularly within OCI or other major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Prior involvement in network automation or device management solutions, demonstrating a keen interest in automating and improving network modeling, deployment and operations.
- Sound understanding of DevOps CI/CD pipeline, containers and micro-services architecture and concepts. Familiarity with development and collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of Scrum & Agile methodologies, with experience working in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Knowledge of data center network designs and operation, CLOS topologies and metro/optical networking.
- Basic knowledge of multi-layer switches administration for a major vendor (Arista, Juniper, or Cisco).
- Familiarity with common routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Familiarity with JSON, YAML and JINJA templates. Experience in basic web application programming.
- Experience in basic network monitoring (telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana) and debugging (ping, traceroute) tools.
- A master's degree in Computer Science or related fields is a plus.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
