Job Description:Responsibility Summary:Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the Maintenance Supervisor provides operational leadership and oversight of day-to-day groundskeeping activities across all assigned UR Medicine/Finger Lakes Health facilities. This position is responsible for coordinating staffing, scheduling tasks, and ensuring the upkeep and appearance of exterior grounds and related equipment. Serves as the primary on-call contact for grounds operations from November through April and as otherwise directed.Requirements:EducationMinimum: High School diploma or equivalent.Preferred: Associate’s degree in Facilities Management or relevant fieldExperience:Minimum: 5-years in groundskeeping and/or facilities maintenance.Preferred: 2-years of supervisory or lead experience in maintenance or grounds operations.License/Certifications:License: Valid NYS drivers licenseCertifications: Pesticide License within 6-months of hire
