- Audit receiving lanes and update morning metrics for Warehouse Supervisor. (Lanes received, lanes to be received, empty lanes)
- Review incoming paperwork for COMS orders in “K” status.
- Ensures paperwork is being filed properly into the receiving, pending, and hold trays.
- Audit “In Process” & "Hold" tray daily for status changes to pending receivals.
- Review receiving issues with receivers as they arise: missing order numbers, incorrect quantity shipped, missing pallets, damage pallets, temp protect etc.
- Work with receivers to correct mistakes: incorrect marking on HU, forgetting mixed pallet label, separating freight by 3PL, etc.
- Submit tickets when necessary and work with IT to resolve.
- Reach out to 3M plants or CSRs to have orders ship noticed or to inquire about other issues such as missing freight, over/under quantity, or incorrect paperwork.
- Ensure receivers are being productive and keep the work flowing.
- Help to establish a safety culture and atmosphere of open and honest communication.
- Lead Tier 1 meetings for receiving side of the warehouse.
- Attend Tier 2 and give status updates on tickets and catch up on metrics.
- Communicate with operators to move pallets or ask questions about freight.
- Enter RDR’s as needed.
- Back up Outbound TM planning when needed.
- High School/ GED diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- One (1) year of SAP experience including EWM and ERP in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Five years of experience in a warehouse utilizing SAP in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include patience, transparency, leadership, and willingness to assist others.
- Previous leadership experience is helpful
- Patience and the ability to work with many different personalities and experience levels
- Previous technical knowledge is a must and will help to lead the receivers when troubleshooting
- Good communication skills required to work with the customer and the receivers.
