Position SummaryThe Senior Management Analyst/Business Analyst will provide expert-level data governance analysis services to assist the NPS data governance team in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, and standards. This position leads the development and implementation of an enterprise data governance and data management program for the National Park Service's decentralized organizational structure. The analyst will work directly with the NPS Data Governance Steering Committee and serve as the primary data governance support office team member, requiring advanced facilitation skills and the ability to drive complex issues to closure across multiple organizational levels.Duties May Include:Lead development and implementation of enterprise data governance framework, policies, and standardsCreate and maintain common data dictionaries and data inventory tools for NPSSupport development and implementation of data and metadata standards to ensure proper data asset documentationFacilitate workshops and meetings with multiple stakeholders to drive information discoveryAssist with data monitoring and provide organizational management guidance on streamlining data managementSupport NPS Data Governance Steering Committee chartered under the Information Management CouncilLead NPS Data Strategy development and implementation activitiesCoordinate NPS Public Access Plan and related implementation activitiesDevelop key performance indicators and supply organizational management with performance resultsEnsure controls are in place over applications and workflows to maintain data integrityCoordinate resolution of data integrity gaps by working with business owners and IT staffCreate detailed formal documents including meeting minutes for cross-functional committeesDevelop policies and documents on data strategy, data stewardship, data governance, and data management maturitySupport communication activities and annual workplan development for NPS Data Management websiteIdentify and prioritize governance work tasks and propose new proceduresRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of direct experience working with enterprise data governance teamsProven experience developing data governance processes and proceduresStrong understanding of databases, data structures, and modern data architecturesAdvanced analytical and time management skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex topics clearlyIntermediate facilitation skills with ability to drive issues to closureExperience partnering within collaborative, national, matrixed team environmentsActive NAC or NACI security clearance eligibilityDesired Qualifications:Advanced degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related fieldCertification in data governance or data management (CDMP, DGSP)Experience with DAMA International Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)Knowledge of federal data governance requirements and complianceExperience with enterprise data cataloging and metadata management toolsUnderstanding of data quality frameworks and data stewardship principlesExperience with Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, and enterprise data platformsProject management experience in data governance initiativesBenefitsAt Trinity Global Consulting (TGC), we value our employees and provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
