
Maintenance Engineering Supervisor

- Plan and schedule daily work assignments
- Manage and prioritize work order backlog
- Balance manpower based on workload
- Administer schedules, payroll data submission, and track overtime
- Utilizing MVP One CMMS, review all submitted work requests. Generate work orders and assign to the maintenance team
- Work with plant area supervisors for prioritization of equipment breakdowns and timely completion of work orders
- Interact with plant area supervisors and operations personnel to further define work requests, troubleshoot equipment issues or process upsets
- Supervise the site’s Maintenance Instrumentation Technicians to complete work orders and electrical troubleshooting
- Ensure completion of the site’s instrumentation calibration program
- Supervise the daily activities of the Maintenance Parts Specialist
- Ensure spare parts are checked in / out of management systems
- Work with the maintenance engineer for new spare parts ordering and stocking
- Assign maintenance team members to complete equipment PM's, review results / deficiencies and issue follow up work orders to make corrective actions
- Work with the site’s Reliability Engineer to support and complete work order generated from the Mechanical Integrity program
- Manage contractor scheduling and work completion for service agreement activities such as fire system testing, HVAC PM, chiller PM, crane PM, etc.
- Develop work scope, scheduling and manage activities for contractors providing services such as mechanical, electrical, rigging, hydroblasting, etc.
- Ensure adherence all Trinseo safety programs
- Initiate permits based on Life Critical Standards
- Participate / Conduct Hazardous Job Meetings
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures related to health and safety, and quality management
- Conduct toolbox safety talks
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of Supervisory in Maintenance or Operations
- 3+ years in a Chemical Manufacturing environment
- Union environment experience preferred
- Knowledge and Experience with Mechanical Integrity Programs as they relate to Process Safety Management (PSM).
- Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of CMMS such as MVP One or similar platform
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Very strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledgeable of Process Safety Management requirements (PHA, MOC, Mechanical Integrity etc.)
- Strong personal interaction and communications skills at all levels of the company.

- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to guide, train and influence cross functional teams in troubleshooting activities
