Controller

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including General Ledger management, cashflow maintenance, financial reporting, and staff supervision.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, performs additional reconciliations as needed.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to owners to support decision making
• Manage relationships with external financial partners, brokers, and tax firms/CPA.

• Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Oversee the timely processing of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team & establish clear goals and objectives
• Develop and implement best practices for financial processes and systems
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of full-cycle accounting experience within a construction or related industry
• 1-2 years HR experience within a small company environment or equivalent
• Management experience required
