The primary goal of this position is to leverage artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), advanced analytics, and cloud-based solutions to enhance supply chain decision-making, efficiency, and resilience. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in AI, programming, and data engineering with a strong background/knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems. This role will focus on designing and implementing AI-driven insights, integrating LLMs into business workflows, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML/LLM-based solutions and tools.
- Build and integrate AI agents/tools that enable business users to query and interact with supply chain data quickly and seamlessly.
- Collaborate with supply chain, IT, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI/ML/LLMs can automate reporting, document analysis, root cause investigation, and knowledge retrieval.
- Write, test, and maintain scalable code in Python/TypeScript/SQL, and other relevant languages for AI/ML/LLM development and data processing.
- Design and maintain pipelines that connect structured and unstructured supply chain data with LLMs.
- Integrate solutions within Microsoft Azure and Databricks platforms.
- Perform large-scale data analysis, identifying patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights across supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement conversational interfaces that allow stakeholders to leverage LLMs for real-time decision support.
- Ensure AI/LLM models and solutions are production-ready, scalable, and aligned with governance, compliance, and security standards.
- Stay current on emerging AI/LLM technologies, supply chain best practices, and cloud-native solutions to continuously advance organizational capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Type Script, SQL, Spark and other related languages and platforms.
- Familiarity with AI Tools, MCP Servers, and LLM integration.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services (Data Factory, Synapse, Machine Learning, Databricks, Azure OpenAI).
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and LLM-enhanced applications.
- Strong understanding of RAG for combining structured supply chain data with LLMs.
- Ability to translate complex AI/ML/LLM-driven findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective collaboration skills for working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or related technical/business field with 2+ years of experience in AI, ML, LLM integration, or supply chain analytics.
- Preferred – Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Supply Chain Analytics, or related technical/business field with 2+ years of experience applying AI, ML and LLMs in supply chain or enterprise-scale environments.
- Hands-on experience designing data structures and strategies to meet the needs of a large enterprise environment with a focus on AI/ML/LLM enablement.
- Understanding of how SAP Master Data, transactional data, and planning systems intersect with AI-driven supply chain applications.
- Familiarity with SAP data structures and tables (e.g., MSEG, MARA, MARC, BOM, LFA1, KNVV). S/4HANA experience a plus.
- Merging SAP and Non-SAP data structures into simplified datasets resulting in actionable insights across the organization.
- Ability to design AI/ML/LLM use cases that meet business requirements and provide tangible value to the organization.
