- Execute a daily cycle program to include issuing daily counts to associates using a designed methodology that ensures velocity items are counted quarterly, velocity items are counted every 6 months and annually. Develop standard reporting and publish results routinely.
- Audit receipts, put-aways, picks and staged loads for accuracy ensuring correct model, quantities, serial numbers and storage locations. Communicate errors back to department leaders for department and Associate accountability.
- Drive inventory slotting where appropriate to yield productivity improvement. Fast moving bulk storage materials should be nearest the shipping dock. Fast moving rack items in RK01 and assembly materials stored in RKAS.
- Ensure corporate processes are followed when adjusting inventory. Submit adjustment documents to corporate accounting on a timely basis. Confirm adjustments are completed systematically once approved.
- Timely processing of all credits and re-bills when notified of incorrect SN transactions. Confirm with Dealer the actual SN received as compared to invoiced. Once confirmed, process the return and credit. Create new delivery with correct SN and process for invoicing.
- Collaborate with external auditing firms and internal stakeholders to eliminate the requirement for a physical inventory. Understand the requirements for eliminating physical inventories and drive internal processes to meet requirements.
- Segregate distressed product and facilitate refurbishment, discount, or disposal. Work with internal stakeholders to include Operations, Marketing, Sales, Accounting and Finance to recommend inventory for scrap or special discounted marketing plans to reduce inventory.
- Ensure safe storage practices are followed at all times to include proper stacking, gapping, rack storage etc.
- High School diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Inventory Control Supervisor.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of logistics and warehousing procedures
- Lean Sigma certification
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to supervise and develop subordinates
- Strong knowledge of SAP, ECC, EWM and Microsoft Office Suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
- Requires standing and walking for long periods of time or sitting and working on computer for extended periods of time.
