Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?
  • Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
  • If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.
Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam
  • Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.

CNC Operator Details:
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $17.80 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:48pm to 11:18pm)
  • 1st Shift 6:48am-3:18pm $17.00/hr
  • 2nd Shift 2:48pm-11:18pm $17.80/hr (Will need to train on 1st.)
  • CNC Machine Operators are responsible for the set-up and operations of machining equipment to produce finished products.
  • Setup and run cells equipment with the right CNC programs, tooling, and fixtures for each job.
  • Read sketches and blueprints and translate into machine set-up.
  • Check first piece machined and make adjustments to attain product specifications.
  • Load/Unload parts utilizing overhead crane of lift truck.
CNC Operator Qualifications:
  • Previous CNC experience required.
  • Solid Work History.
  • This position is temp-to-direct after completing 480 hours.
  • Steel Toes are required.
  • No Education requirements.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
