
Test Technician II – Product Testing

- Interpret unique prototype drawings, test specifications, and requirements
- Assist product teams with the creation of test plans and experiments
- Understand test requirements and carry out research & development test plans by:
- Assembling prototype products
- Carrying out tests using bespoke test equipment
- Recording new processes and findings
- Create written and graphed test data reports and help conclude outcomes
- Present data to testing group and stakeholders, providing insights on key test events
- Perform part conditioning and experiment with manufacturing methods to meet finish requirements
- Draft new processes and procedures for testing activities
- Reconfigure equipment to complete non-standard tests, based on requirements, design, and planning
- Self-manage schedule, provide commitments, and execute effectively
- Work safely and apply general safety practices at all times
- Work in an organized manner, applying 5S principles
- Drive the creation of written risk assessments
- Contribute to team improvement projects
- Manage inventory for key New Product Development (NPD) projects
- Apply a methodical approach to fault finding and root cause analysis (RCA): isolating variables in both test equipment and new products
