?Control Room Operator – Power GenerationPay: $27-37/hr (DOE)Shift: Rotating 12 hour ShiftWe’re looking for a detail-oriented, safety-focused Control Room Operator to join our power generation team. In this role, you’ll monitor and coordinate operations across four nearby powerhouses, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance while supporting field teams and serving as the primary customer contact during your shift.What You’ll DoMonitor & Control Operations – Oversee real-time plant performance using MyPlant, tracking engine output, emissions, and key system parameters.Alarm Management – Respond to alarms and abnormal system conditions, coordinate with Operators and Troubleshooters, and escalate issues as needed.Customer Communication – Act as the main point of contact for load and demand adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely generation dispatch.LOTO Coordination – Manage and track Lockout/Tagout procedures across multiple sites to maintain safety compliance.Shift Coordination – Maintain clear communication with site teams, allocate resources effectively, and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.Documentation & Reporting – Keep accurate shift logs, MyPlant records, and customer interaction notes.Continuous Improvement – Participate in alarm trend reviews and performance discussions to enhance operations.What We’re Looking ForExperience in power generation, control room operations, or industrial plant environments preferredStrong situational awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities in real timeExcellent communication skills, both with internal teams and customersCommitment to safety protocols and complianceAbility to work a shift-based schedule, including nights and weekendsWhy Join UsCompetitive pay and shift differentialsCareer development opportunities in a growing, essential industrySupportive team environment with strong safety cultureComprehensive training and onboarding providedAt ROLINC Staffing & Search, we connect great job seekers with great companies along the Colorado Front Range and beyond!
