Description:CTG is seeking to fill a Print Production/Printer Maintenance Associate for our client in Boston, MA.This position does require some driving between client sites. Must have a reliable vehicle.Job Title: Experienced Print Production Associate/ Printer Maintenance Associate
Location: Boston, MA
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F
Pay: $22.50/hrThis position does require 25%-50% Driving, using your own personal vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed. Must have a valid US Driver's license and no more than on moving violation in the past three years.MUST HAVE Experience in a print shop or copy centerAbility to handle Imaging, re-touching with graphics design software, working with XEROX or competitive high end printers in a print shop handling print production work.Essential Functions:
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service
  • Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) process
  • Provide ongoing end user training on equipment
  • Perform basic device cleaning and replacement of operator-accessible parts and consumables per equipment specifications
  • Break-fix activities account for approximately 70% of role responsibilities
  • Provide IP address support (no other network support provided)
  • Conduct basic equipment problem diagnosis
  • Act as the point of contact for equipment removal and delivery
  • Contact Xerox and third-party service providers as required
  • Utilize Xerox web-based applications such as Call Handling for code entry
  • Submit accurate call reporting in FWSS and XSM systems
  • Provide onsite support for remote service calls
  • Use Microsoft Excel for reporting requirements
  • Proactively manage consumables and supplies using the DOS calculator
  • Maintain on-site inventory of operator replaceable parts
  • Collect equipment meter readings and submit for billing purposes
  • Perform data entry for activity and asset tracking
  • Driving requirement: 25–50% local travel required to fulfill duties
Skills:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Read, write, and follow basic English instructions
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience:
  • Previous experience in print production, device servicing, or a related field is preferred
  • Graphic Design Software
Education:
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
