Our focus on Boldly Cultivating unites us as a global team and fuels our vision to become the world's most desirable luxury wine company - known for the experiences we create for our consumers, customers, partners, suppliers and our people.About the roleEquipment Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tractors, RTVs and associated implements in the performance of tasks set out for them by Managers and Foremen of Treasury Wine Estates (TWE). These tasks include, but are not limited to, the operation of technical mobile equipment for the purposes of discing, mowing, hoe-plowing, cultivating, spraying, lifting, servicing, monitoring, harvesting, fertilizing and applying chemicals, etc. Also performs minor repairs related to pre-start safety checks; maintains, connects, and disconnects equipment used to execute duties. Maintains equipment in a clean and safe state. We are hiring for 3 levels of Operators; your placement will be dependent on your knowledge and experience.About you
  • Current valid CA driver's License required; referred heavy machinery certification.
  • Experience operating agriculture or construction type equipment and maintenance required.
  • Muse be able to pass physical and drug testing pre-hire.
  • Knowledge of vineyards and vineyard equipment or agricultural crops.
  • Two harvest seasons operating various types of tractors and mechanical farm equipment safely and effectively, preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry moderately weighted objects.
  • Able to be exposed to outdoor weather fluctuations including hot and cold, agricultural chemicals, dust, pollen, soil/mud, grease/oils/solvents.
  • Must be a team player and willing to lean in on other duties at the site during downtime.

These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our Napa, CA location. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range.
