Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Lusk, WY 82225
Shift Schedule: 3x11.75 Hour Shifts – Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM), 7 on / 7 off rotation
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Guaranteed Hours: 35.3 hours/week
Pay Range: $38/hr – $45 per hour on a W2Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting with a maximum of 17 residents.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document care in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, and available Emergency Department staff to deliver comprehensive care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents.
Accurately chart nursing activities and observations using Athena EMR.
Respond promptly to changes in resident conditions and emergency situations.
Educate residents and families on care routines, medications, and health conditions.Skills/Experience Needed:
Minimum of 2 years of LPN experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting – Required
Solid understanding of geriatric care practices and LTC standards
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a 1-nurse, 1-aide staffing model
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with Athena EMR preferred (or willingness to learn)
Professional appearance required – scrubs must be clean and untattered (no color requirementEducation:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program – Required
Active LPN license in Wyoming or a valid compact license – Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association – RequiredCertifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS – American Heart Association) – Required.
COVID-19 Vaccination per facility policy – Required.
