- Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated manufacturing equipment.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems, primarily using Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
- Integrate and maintain robotic systems, such as Fanuc and ABB, used in production lines.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to support new equipment installations and upgrades.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for control system failures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization and equipment reliability.
- Maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics, programs, and change logs.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering or a related automation field.
- Experience in the automotive industry with a strong understanding of manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in programming Allen-Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000).
- Hands-on experience with robotic automation systems, particularly with FANUC robots.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred).
- Experience with HMI development and robotic integration.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, sensors, actuators, and safety systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams.
