This role is essential in helping create a safe, welcoming, and well-organized cafeteria environment for our students.Key Resposibilities:
Assist students with retrieving their lunches and opening food items as needed.
Supervise and support students to ensure a safe and respectful cafeteria experience.
Encourage positive student behavior and interactions during mealtime.
Perform light cleaning duties, such as wiping tables and maintaining cafeteria tidiness.
Collaborate with school staff to maintain smooth lunchroom operations.
Qualifications:
Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education prior to start date (
attached) * Experience working with elementary students preferred.
Enjoy working with elementary-aged children (K–5).
Ability to provide supervision with patience and care.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
