Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as per site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
  • Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related concerns and maintain a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
