Job Overview:The Sr Analyst – Advisory Operations/Billing will be responsible for handling more complex and cross departmental items on behalf of the advisory operations team. This could include working directly with both clients and other internal partners. This will require a general knowledge of all team processes, as well as a deeper knowledge of more complex issues.Responsibilities:
  • Communicate complex issues both in writing and verbally to management and internal/external vendors and customers. Must be able to provide oversight of existing processes and mitigate risk against future firm impact.
  • Oversee the review, reconciliation and supervisory control of data and provide detail-level analysis to external clients while meeting service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts both on this team and across various other teams to obtain key job knowledge that will help meet the specific business needs. Research complex situations and define the actions necessary to resolve the situation.
  • Improve workflows that cross multiple teams to gain efficiencies.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze information and strong reporting skills.
  • Ability to handle escalated items timely and accurately, while creating a great experience for our customers.
  • Limited weekend availability will be expected.

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or other related field
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, macros)
Core Competencies:
  • Working understanding of client compensation and the impacts of billing and billing adjustments on client compensation
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Constant eye for process improvement and efficiencies
Preferences:
  • Strong understanding of advisory products
  • Knowledgeable in general advisory account billing and adjustments
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
  • FINRA licensing (SIE/99, 7)
Pay Range: $25.64-$42.73/hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
