Position Overview:Mark Bric is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead a small but growing division of its light production company located in Prince George, VA. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, financial expertise, and operational oversight capabilities. The General Manager will partner with the President of Mark Bric Sweden, to be responsible for strategic direction of the organization, driving U.S. sales growth, managing the division's finances, and overseeing production and logistics operations.Summary of Job Responsibilities and Requirements:Sales & Marketing (60%)
  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to expand U.S. market share.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, email campaigns, social media, and paid advertising.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key clients and distributors.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies to meet targets.
  • Collaborate with Corporate marketing and sales teams to align messaging and campaigns.
Financial/Administrative Management (30%)
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the division.
  • Manage cash flow, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditures.
  • Directly manage activities and/or staff responsible for finance / accounting functions, human resources, technology and admin support functions.
Operations Oversight (10%)
  • Supervise the Production Manager and ensure smooth operations across production, quality control, warehouse, and shipping.
  • Monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, product quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
Key Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, financial management, or general operations, that includes P&L responsibility for multiple business areas and/or mid-sized organizations.
  • Successful e-commerce experience.
  • Preferred experience in a production or manufacturing environment, especially in apparel-related industries.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing budgets.
  • Proven ability to build external customer relationships and negotiate contracts/pricing.
  • Successful experience leading process improvement efforts, organizational change, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, ERP/inventory management systems, digital marketing tools, and financial software.
  • Ability to plan and manage effectively through project management and problem solving/analysis.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools especially Excel, required.
  • Minimal overnight travel.
  • Valid VA driver's license required with acceptable DMV report.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment background screening including drug / alcohol test.
Compensation Package Includes:
  • Starting salary of $110,000-125,000
