Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionThe Manager, Global Sales Compensation System role is a unique opportunity that calls for a technical and analytical individual who will participate in activities to enhance and maintain system and non-system sales compensation processes. In this role you will analyze and develop solutions that support efficient sales compensation operational processes and the objective to drive revenue and employee engagement through the sales compensation program.This is a mid-level position, and as such, the candidate must possess strong knowledge of sales compensation and have high technical aptitude. In addition, the candidate must have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to partner effectively with incentive design, incentive operations, IT teams, and vendors. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Sales Compensation Systems and will be an individual contributor.ResponsibilitiesConduct business requirement sessions to capture the incentive plan specifications and needs of the sales compensation operations, sales compensation design, and sales operations teamsAnalyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for the incentive compensation platformDesign, develop, and implement solutions using NICE ICM, SQL, Excel, and other toolsDesign and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources and systems, with a strong focus on reusability, performance, and scalabilityDevelop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and completenessDocument data processes, workflows, and methodologiesCreate test cases and support testing to validate software functionality and quality with the end-users.Perform usability, accessibility, and user interface testing to ensure the system meets the user expectations and needsDocument and report any defects, errors, or bugs discovered during the testing process, and track their status and resolutionProvide feedback and suggestions for improving the system quality and user experienceDocument system processes and procedures and provide training to the incentive operations teamProvide end-to-end support for the incentive compensation solutions, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and user trainingCollaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure system alignment and integrationStay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies for incentive compensation systemsThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • At least 5 years of incentive compensation system experience with progressively increasing responsibility and complexity of work
  • Intermediate experience configuring and developing within ICM solutions, such as NICE, CallidusCloud, Xactly, Optymyze, or Varicent
  • Ability to extract and manipulate large datasets using standard tools such as Hadoop (Hive), Spark, Python (pandas, NumPy), Presto, and SQL.
  • Expert ability to perform data quality checks, data cleansing, data transformation, and data integration tasks using various tools and techniques
  • Experience in writing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and bug reports
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and testing processes
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with exemplary organization skills, must possess “can do” attitude
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully executing against tight deadlines, with a collaboration mind-set
