
Oracle Solutions Architect - Manufacturing

- Provide techno-functional (Functional-80%) expertise in Oracle EBS Discrete Manufacturing modules (INV, BOM, WIP, Costing, and Oracle MES).
- Demonstrate knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes, including shop floor control, material control, and job management.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of Oracle End-to-End Manufacturing and Oracle MES processes.
- Manage Bills of Material (BOMs) and routings for discrete jobs. Configure and manage shop floor transactions, such as move, completion, and scrap.
- Monitor job status and identify potential bottlenecks. Generate and analyze reports related to manufacturing performance.
- Provide expert-level knowledge across Inventory Control, Cost Management, Engineering, routing, manufacturing lead times, and Oracle MES.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements for the production process and MES enhancements. Develop solutions and recommend potential alternatives after considering business and technical considerations.
- Support a collection of user stories, combining and prioritizing them for efficient project execution.
- Host with business process evaluation workshops (as-is, to-be), Model and demo solutions to the business.
- Ensure holistic solution design, incorporating cross-functional considerations into functional and technical design specifications.
- Ensure that solution design aligns with our Enterprise Architecture and technical application management standards.
- Provide hands-on functional support in Oracle EBS 12.2.5, including adjusting logic and configurations.
- Assist in testing and validating enhancements before moving into production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle EBS Manufacturing module issues. Recommend system modifications to reduce customer problems.
- Work on integrating Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules with other systems (both Oracle and third-party). Collaborate with development teams to design, test, and implement interfaces.
- Develop and execute testing plans (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) for new implementations, upgrades, and patches. Document test results and provide recommendations.
- Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including process flows, technical specifications, and end-user manuals.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance and business processes within the Oracle EBS environment. Suggest best practices and assist in process reengineering efforts.
- Participate in Oracle EBS upgrades, patches, and other system changes. Ensure smooth transitions with minimal downtime and disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle PL SQL is a plus. Experience with Oracle Manufacturing module, functional technical components, and a clear understanding of Oracle SCM and Manufacturing cycles is preferred.
- Relevant education, such as a Bachelor’s or University Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
- Strong experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.5, specifically INV, BOM, WIP, and Costing.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle R12 MES implementations.
- Proven ability to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
