- Proactively identify potential clients across the U.S. that align with our service strengths (e.g., mRNA testing, Sterile Fill/Finish, Microbiology).
- Develop strategies to turn market opportunities into actionable leads for the sales team.
- Build a pipeline of high-value targets and collaborate with Business Development to convert them.
- Champion our lab's presence in San Diego through brand-building, relationship development, and strategic marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the corporate marketing team to ensure our BPT San Diego story is told clearly, consistently, and compellingly.
- Monitor and analyze our commercial pipeline, ensuring we have momentum behind every deal.
- Flag bottlenecks, suggest interventions, and drive accountability across touchpoints.
- Regularly update and improve our client-facing materials and presentations.
- Ensure every external touchpoint reflects a clear, compelling, differentiated value proposition.
- Act as the internal advocate for clients, helping ensure lab leaders are aligned with commercial priorities.
- Infuse customer needs and growth thinking into day-to-day lab conversations.
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial strategy, sales enablement, consulting, business development, or marketing—preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or a B2B technical industry.
- Sharp analytical and strategic thinking skills with a "builder" mindset.
- Exceptional written and visual communication abilities—you can craft a story and a slide deck.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and resourceful with a bias toward action.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating structure.
