design practice as a Senior Project Architect to work on inspiring and significant projects in and
around Los Angeles, California.Duties and Responsibilities
● Supervise and lead the execution of the design throughout the project;
● Supervise and lead technical project coordination with consultant team;
● Communicate frequently and clearly with the project team, clients, vendors, contractors,
consultants, and permitting officials in collaboration with the project manager
● Bring concerns, problems and proposed solutions to the project manager.
● Lead projects independently while guiding and managing internal production workflow and
team. Plan and implement goals and resources to meet project schedule and milestones;
● Create details that reflect the design intent of the project;
● Perform work in a timely manner to meet the project schedule.
● Support, direct and mentor junior staff
● Interface with clients regularly to align expectations and drive the project forward
● Coordinate and participate in project design efforts;Desired Skills and Experience
● 12+ years of relevant experience (min 5 years experience in multi-family residential)
● Licensure required;
● Completion of five -year accredited architectural program or graduate of four-year
architectural program;
● Knowledge of Type I, III, & V construction;
● Experience in mixed-use, community and/or multi-family residential projects preferred;
● Strong management and organization;
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
● Previous experience in a leadership role, guiding and supporting junior staff
● Ability to advance a project through all phases of production from early conceptual design
through Construction Administration
● Ability to multitask on multiple concurrent projects
● Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
InDesign, Illustrator);
● Advanced knowledge of building codes, industry standards, building construction, and
building structures with the ability to layout a code compliant fit plan;
● Experience in Construction Administration;
● Ability to work independently on architectural design projects.Pay / Benefits
